Tomb Multimedia Productions has been involved in the process of building websites professionally for over 14 years with companies both small and large; including clients of various disciplines such as government, legal, education, science and research; plus the private sector and non-profit organizations.

Been involved with ColdFusion since LiveWare. Development expertise with enterprise experience in cf concepts, java, .net & com connectivity, & object oriented programming in cfml.

ASP.Net Five Stars

ASP.Net has been an important aspect of web production at TombMedia. Enterprise experience with Microsoft patterns & practices, and various other component libraries.

C# Four Stars

C# is the preferred development language at TombMedia. Expert proficiency with web-related libraries and namespaces. Some GDI+ & Windows.Media.Imaging experience available.

VB.Net Two½ Stars

First learned .Net with VB.Net 1.0 but all follow up programming has been done in C#. Can translate between the two without error. Languages are fundamentally the same in most regards.

ASP.Net Ajax Four Stars

The ASP.Net Ajax library (Atlas) is a powerful, enterprise level library that works perfectly alongside ASP.Net and jQuery. ASP.Net Ajax is a preffered client side scripting library.

Mootools Five Stars

Been defending the Mootools community since branching off from moo.fx for Prototype. Developers tend to hurt more than help so the preference is jQuery whenever possible.

jQuery Four Stars

jQuery has an enormous community, and with that comes superb support, a great plug-in selection, and Intellisense® within Microsoft Visual Studio. Find jQuery code in the code section.

Extjs Two Stars

Ext.JS is a very powerful library for building dynamic web applications and works well with ColdFusion. Every part of Ext has been modeled on the GOF pattern set, very extensible and very slick.

DWR Two½ Stars

Direct Web Remoting usage has been entirely done through cfajax as that was the initial Ajax engine of TombMedia. It requires compiled java on the server so it only gets usage with old coldfusion websites.

Regular Expressions Four Stars

Regular Expressions is a major part of the programming dynamic of the web, with the web being so dependent on strings. Regex's have been a TombMedia passion since the last millennium.

ColdSpring / Unity Three Stars

Dependency Injection (IOC) is a design pattern used extensively within TombMedia. ColdSpring for ColdFusion and Unity for .Net provide the mechanism for the pattern in each language.

WCF Three Stars

WCF is an incredible piece of architecture which has simplified consuming ASP.Net web services, broadened JSON service exposure, and drastically changed our SOA. See WCF examples in the library.

LINQ Five Stars

LINQ is one of the most important developments in C# and in .Net. LINQ has reduced all .Net development within TombMedia by a margin of at least 25%, in most cases more.

LINQ-to-SQL Four Stars

LINQ-to-SQL (SQLMetal) is a fantastic, simple ORM, which is easy to customize and works well with simple data schemas. LINQ-to-SQL is fluent, easy to read and debug, and best of all, free.

Entities Framework ½ Star

Entities Framework is a solid, enterprise-ready ORM from Microsoft. Entity projects can be procured at a discount from TombMedia; we wish to learn more about this technology.

Experience with SQL Server, Oracle and MySQL. The many ORM's, ADO.Net packages and LINQ reduce time spent writing SQL, and provides more time optimizing expression trees ;-)
